With all the essentials, from enterprise-grade security to high-density usage and high-throughput performance, the EAP220 is designed to meet the wireless demands of large organizations, while maintaining a competitive pricing for even the smallest of businesses.

The EAP220 is designed specifically for high-traffic environments such as public hotspots, airport lounges, school classrooms, hotel lobbies, and event venues. Each radio in the device is capable of supporting speeds up to 300 Mbps, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted multimedia usage such as video streaming. Furthermore, the EAP220 also allows operators to relieve stress on traditional 2.4GHz networks by having a 5GHz connection available for compatible devices. Along with four detachable external antennas and support for 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), the EAP220 brings a much greater degree of flexibility to meet the requirements of all deployment environments.

When deployed in conjunction with 4ipnet’s WHG series controllers, the EAP220 provides an array of value-added functions, such as client load-balancing, bandwidth control, billable hotspot authentication, and guest access.
