Federal Court of Malaysia, deploys 4ipnet WLAN Controller and Access Points

I. Case Overview

Federal Court of Malaysia, the highest court in the country, is located in the Palace of Justice, Putrajaya, Malaysia. Established during Malaysia’s independence in 1954, the court originally served as the Court of Judicature of Prince of Wales' Island. The current name, Federal Court of Malaysia, was given in 1994. 


To provide a simpler network management system with comprehensive features, including limited access and usage times span control, the court would need 4ipnet WLAN controller working in conjectural with the existing system and 4ipnet access points.

II. Challenges

  • Incorporate 4ipnet WLAN with the existing network infrastructure and VLAN assignment
  • Integrating with NT Server which is not in local network

Centralized Management of Access Points

WHG controller provides an easy and manageable platform to monitor all 4ipnet access points. WHG controller provides a central point of administration and monitoring. Administrator can quickly find the associated AP per user ID, or to view specific AP’s status and connected client list. The AP management feature of 4ipnet is provided without license fee.

Concurrent Dual-band Wi-Fi Service

4ipnet EAP757 the concurrent dual-band wall/ceiling access point hat serves both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz at the same time, provide best Wi-Fi connectivity in indoor high density areas (both 5 Ghz, both 2.4Ghz, or one 5Ghz one 2.4Ghz). Dual channel selection reduces possible RF interference from other access points or wireless devices, guarantees Wi-Fi stability and reliability.
