4ipnet provides wireless coverage at Municipal Stadium Lucio Fariña Fernández, Quillota, Chile

Municipal Stadium Lucio Fariña Fernández serves as a multi-use stadium in Quillota, Chile and used mostly for football matches by the squad San Luis Quillota of the Primera División de Chile. The entire stadium holds about 7,500 spectators.

The main scope of this project is to provide a platform for quick, free indoor wireless internet access with a seamless interface, optimization of the signal coverage and centralized management while reducing the possible points of failure throughout the whole indoor facility. Whether conducting live broadcasts or uploading the newest scoring tables, recent information can be updated wirelessly from within the stadium. Wireless access throughout the stadium not only saves cabling costs during implementation, it also allows mobile networking. Incoming reporters and guests will be able to access the World Wide Wed without any signal disruption.
After going through multiple industrial devices, 4ipnet’s Secure WLAN Controller WHG303 and Enterprise Access Point EAP100 (AP) were chosen as the best cost-effective indoor wireless management solution. For more detailed coverage regarding this Case Study, please click here.
